With the many children's smiles, excitements and wild applauses, the Annual Talent Day was celebrated for the eighth consecutive year by the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation and the Center for Young Talents in Burgas.
The crowded hall of Grand Hotel and Spa "Primoretz" is watching the premiere of the documentary "Stories for Chance and Talents, directed by Martina Chachevska. In it, young Bulgarian talents share the path of success. The idea for the creation of the film is from the chairman of the Foundation Liliana Slavova. She decides to collect the stories of the children who have participated in the various creative projects of the Center for Young Talents in Bourgas and themselves to create the viewers how they work there and what opportunities the Foundation provides for the development of gifts and talents.
Creating a center for gifted children in her hometown is her dream come true. Having graduated from abroad, she returns with the conviction that every Bulgarian should do something for her country. Together with their friends, they choose to help their country's largest asset and create a national non-governmental organization to support talented children and a center for young talents in their hometown of Burgas. Seven years later, the first alumni of this center stand in front of the camera and tell their experiences and the opportunities they have gained thanks to their participation in various creative projects, competitions and contests. The Foundation has a wealth of personal archive footage that illustrates their stories. In the film there are many smiling faces, colorful drawings, music, dancing, theater, talking about how important it is to help and what charity means. It also contains important information about why the certificates of a center in Burgas are so valued in the world and how every talented child can get them.
After the premiere, the audience attended the official award ceremony Prizes, Scholarships and Awards 2018 of the Foundation, the most talented and distinguished children from all over Bulgaria, winning prizes at national and international competitions, contests and Olympiads in the field of mathematics, Fine Art and Literature.This first fashion show was presented by Burgas talents.The participants from the fashion design project of the Center for Young Talents, led by the famous designer Maria Taneva, made their sketches into unique models that showed to the guests themselves. The smallest winners of the 1st regional mathematical tournament for children of pre-school age "I know it all, were awarded each with a medal, a diploma and a gift, provided by Archimedes publishing house. The festival ended with the opening of two exhibitions in Burgas talents - The annual exhibition "I can and I love and the first solo exhibition The whole of me by the participants in the art projects headed by Tanya Stoyanova at the Center for Young Talents .
"We are very happy and proud that for another year the celebration provoked a great interest among our ex-current and current alumni, their relatives and friends, directors and teachers from schools and kindergartens, writers, journalists and public figures. We hope to receive a little more support from the state institutions working for the development of our children," said Liliana Slavova, Chairman of the Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria.
