On Mar 23, 2019 at 9:00 in Burgas Free University will be held the annual Regional Olympiad in Informatics and Information Technologies. For the fifth consecutive year it was initiated by the "Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria" Foundation and was implemented with the assistance of the Center for Young Talents, the Center for Technical Sciences at Burgas Free University and the Professional High School of Computer Programming and Innovation, Burgas. The Olympiad aims to stimulate interest in high technology and its importance for modern education and also to bring together the efforts of schools, higher education institutions and institutions involved in the advancement and improvement of smart, ambitious and talented children and young people in this sphere.
Students from three age groups: 4th to 6th grade; 7th to 8th grade and 9th to 12th grade at various secondary and elementary schools from the city and the region will compete in the field of IT technology - one of the most dynamic and fast growing sectors.
Participation is free, the organizers invite all children and youngsters from 4th to 12th grade from Bourgas and the region with interests in this field to participate in the event.
