On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, the center for development and support of talented children in the city of Burgas officially presented its enriched and very diverse program for the school year 2020/2021.

Intriguing and worthy of attention are the new for the center and the city - author's projects in ecology, acting, animation and musical art. They are created by prominent teachers and professionals specifically for the needs of children and young people.

One of the proposals is free training in the Ecoclub Green Researchers" - the eco-project is aimed at everyone aged 11 to 19 with a strong interest in environmental protection. Its head is the famous Bulgarian ornithologist and biologist with many years of experience in scientific work, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetla Dalakchieva. Having achieved high results as a curator of the Natural History Museum in Burgas and spent much of her professional experience in researching biodiversity in Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dalakchieva has been working in recent years with young people to whom she wants to pass her knowledge and above all to ignite them to love, respect and protect nature.

The most important ingredient for the success of an endeavor is the excellent team. We are extremely happy that some of the best professionals and pedagogues in Bulgaria responded to our special invitation for cooperation on the eve of the anniversary. It is an honor and a privilege for us to welcome among us the famous Bulgarian director, poet, playwright and honorary citizen of Burgas Simeon Dimitrov. Mr. Dimitrov agreed to lead an acting studio Homo ludens The Playing Man". A rare chance is the opportunity to touch his great talent and learn from the best. We believe that all children with talent and interest in the field of theater will appreciate it and will fall in love forever with the magic called theater" said Liliana Slavova, President of the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation - founder of the Center for young talents.

A unique one for the city is the author's project in animated cinema with a leader - Melina-Elina Bondokova, a graduate of animated cinema and directing, illustrator of children's literature, winner of numerous national and international awards for animation. The innovative rhythm group "Ritmocosmic", led by Nina Reichel, pedagogue of piano, solfeggio, percussion and vocal technique, performer of jazz, classical and pop music on many European stages, is another pilot project of the center, in which every Burgas kid can enlist into.

And folk art, mathematics, painting, applied arts, foreign languages and new technologies have been leading and preferred among the city's talents for ten years.

The only certified center for work with talented children in the country is also planning a large-scale campaign for opening and anticipatory school education, training and development of talented children in Burgas, which will take place in September.
