What is an animated film and what is its role among adolescents? The answer to this increasingly frequently asked question is given by the new author's project of the talented illustrator and animator Melina-Elina Bondokova.

"Animation nowadays covers a wide range of applications, cinema, advertising, mobile applications, games, etc. As it is perceived quickly and is now available to everyone, animation is becoming one of the preferred professions of the future and interesting hobby and activity among teenagers. In the constant search for new challenges for finding and developing different talents, the idea arose to invite the best professional in the field of animation in Burgas and to offer children a unique cinematic experience. ", commented Liliana Slavova , Chairwoman of the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation and founder of the Center for Young Talents.

"With great pleasure I accepted the invitation of the Center for Young Talents, Burgas to implement its modular project "Animation Cinema. Introduction to the creation of animation" intended for children and young people over 10 years with an interest in the fine arts. Animation is very rich in means of expression. In our program we will look at its various techniques. We will watch and comment on classical, festival and mass cinema, on elements and complete productions. Attention is paid to the detail and metaphors in the frames, the meaning of the suggestion they carry. Lack and need for color in the production and symbols in the color ranges. We will learn to think in pictures, to tell a story without the help of a narrator and a voice-over. We will make a script and a storyboard, characters, sets and elements, and with them we will shoot individual and group videos" says Melina-Elina.

This is a pilot project for our city and will start in October, and places are limited. More information can be found at www.forbgkids.org, as well as on 0887 201033 and 0882 723760.
