  • EcoClub "Green Explorers" opens its doors free of charge for Burgas children and youth

"Think green" is a common phrase nowadays. How to save the world from an ecological catastrophe, how to properly protect the environment, how to be more socially aware and how to live more environmentally friendly excites not only scientists around the world and in our country.

More and more young people are not indifferent about the future of the planet. On the eve of the tenth anniversary of its establishment, the Center for Talented Children in Burgas, founded by the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation, presents all green-minded children and young people aged 7 to 16 the unique opportunity to participate in the pilot project free of charge - EcoClub "Green Explorers".

"We live on the same planet and its problems affect us all. With the implementation of this modular project, we set ourselves the responsible task of preparing young people for sustainable development and environmental protection. Our goal is to encourage a conscious change in children's behavior and to show the possibilities for effective action to stimulate the development of new values and patterns of environmental behavior. We are happy that the famous Bulgarian ornithologist and biologist with many years of experience in scientific work Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetla Dalakchieva responded to our invitation to lead the project. We believe that with her help we will be able to ignite in the participants a love for the land and encourage them for greener actions and thinking" said Liliana Slavova, President of the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation - founder of the Center for Young Talents.

More information about the free training in the project can be found at www.forbgkids.org, as well as on 0887 201033 and 0882 723760.
