On May 16, 2015 in Bourgas Free University was held the First Olympiad in Information Technology: From the new technologies to the technology success in everything - for students from 9th to 12th grade. The Olympiad is the idea of the Center for young talents and was organized jointly with Chance for Children of Bulgaria Foundation and Burgas Free University. It was attended by students from over 10 secondary schools in Burgas and the region.
Participants competed individually in two age groups in two stages - test in information technology and solving a task in the field of informatics.
This is yet another initiative, with which we aim to stimulate the interest of young people to new technologies, to highlight their importance in contemporary education, and to make the selection and inclusion of gifted children in school forms for early preparation. We aim шге Olympiad in Information technologies to become traditions of Burgas and in the future to establish ourselves as a national competition. The results of the competition will be announced on 20.05.2015 Site Foundation www.forbgkids.org. The winners will be officially awarded at the annual celebration of the Center for young talents on May 22, 2015 at 17:30 in Burgas Mall Gallery, second floor (right by the store Esprit)
