On May 3, at the Center for Young Talents in Burgas the finalists of the 2nd Regional Mathematical Tournament for Preschool Children "I know it all" were awarded. The tournament is organized for the second consecutive year by the "Chance for the Children and Nature of Bulgaria" Foundation and the Center for Young Talents and is unique for the city. The participants were over 240 from 40 schools and kindergartens in Burgas and the region.
The event took place with many children's smiles, excitement and wild applause for the talented mathematicians, and a special musical greeting to the awarded children gave vocal group "Navy Blue", participants in the project of the Center for Young Talents headed by Mrs. Marieta Seklemova.
Each child received a medal and a certificate, as well as presents and sweet temptations provided by the Archimedes Publishing House and the Merengue confectionery, and the mood was even cheerful and festive with the colorful balloons provided by the Barutnitsa shop.
"During our work on mathematical projects, the idea of creating and conducting a competition where the youngest can build strength and show their knowledge is born because we all know how important it is to discover and develop the talent purposefully in our earliest childhood, and our main goal in working with children is to provide the opportunity for all those who love and practice mathematics from the earliest age and to provoke creative thinking in solving applied mathematical tasks.", said Iliana Slavova Chairwoman of the Foundation "Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria" and Center for Young Talents, Burgas.
