A jury chaired by Nedyalko Yordanov and members poetess Yana Valcheva and pedagogue Keti Papasheva awarded the best poems in the III regional competition for children's poetry "I - the child of the sea" on "My city".

In the first age group in the first place is the work of Nikol Sigmyanova, 8 years old, "St. Knyaz Boris I" primary school, Burgas, the second place is for Kaloyan Karamitev, 8 years, "Anton Strashimirov" primary school, Burgas, and the third was won by Kristiana Valcheva, 8 years old, St. Kliment Ohridski Primary School, Burgas.

First place in the second age group was won by Daria Dimitrova, 9 years old, Lyuben Karavelov Primary School, Burgas, the second place was awarded to Ivana Filcheva, 9 years old, Lyuben Karavelov Primary School, Burgas, and third place went to ranked Bogomil Rusev, 10, Elin Pelin Primary School, Burgas.

A special prize of the jury in the third age group was awarded to Nikolay Hadzhistoychev at the age of 12, and the first place was won by Elisaveta Mileva, 11 years old, St. St. Cyril and Methodius" secondary school, Karnobat, the second place was awarded to Lea Nedelcheva, 11, Hristo Botev" secondary school, Karnobat and third place went to Vlad Nikiforov, 11, "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" secondary school, Karnobat.

This year too, the interest in the third edition of the competition was great, and the choice of the jury was extremely difficult. More than seventy children took part in the challenge and shared their love for their hometown in verse.

"I love the Burgas sun"; "Amidst the humid air with the breath of algae I find happiness"; "Oh, I love this Burgas and I secretly pray that wherever I fly, in Burgas I will land again." are a small part of the most intimate feelings and emotions towards the hometown of talented young writers.

The winners will receive not only well-deserved recognition, but also the opportunity to continue to develop their writing talents for free in the pilot project for creative writing "My first stories" led by Yana Valcheva at the Center for Young Talents in Burgas.
