  • Center for Young Talents in Burgas celebrates the International Black Sea Day with a competition on "The colors of my Black Sea" 

The young people from the eco club "Blue Researchers" at the Center for Young Talents, Burgas, challenge everyone who loves the native sea, with a competition on the occasion of October 31 - International Black Sea Day.

The theme is "Colors of my Black Sea", and its purpose is to use the means of art and literature to show the beauty of our sea, but also to focus on the serious problem of its pollution and to provoke more ecological thinking and behavior in adolescents and society as a whole.

The competition is open to young people from Burgas and the region aged 7 to 19 in three age groups 7-9 years; 10-13 years; 14-19 years, and the categories are story and poster, with no restrictions on the materials and techniques used.

The deadline for sending the works is 31.10.2021, and the winners in each age group will be announced on 05.11.2021. More information about the conditions of the competition can be found HERE.

The children and young people from the Eco Club "Blue Researchers" are trained under the project "Implementation of measures to reduce marine litter in Burgas Bay" under the program OOSKP, funded by the EEA FM 2014-2021.
