The module project in English “New success at Cambridge'' is designed for students between 14 and 17 years at language schools, classes with advanced study of foreign languages ​​or self-studying languages. It deals with preparation for the first internationally recognized certificates of Association Cambridge - Level B2, which allows participants to be recommended and to deal with the requirements for Cambridge English (FCE) and the new FCE for Schools. These certificates are recognized by many universities and international institutions that require fluency in English. Training is conducted in the most recent interactive methods and techniques (multimedia and internet) in small groups by qualified teachers. The project is two years and includes six modules of 40 hours (4 hours per week) and is sponsored by the "Chance for Children in Bulgaria", which brings additional benefits to the participants. Successful graduates can improve and specialize primarily their preparation for levels C1 (Advanced) and C2 (Proficiency) at the CYT in English "Language and Occupation". AIMS AND TASKS:

  • To direct students to the most profitable strategies to meet the requirements of those certificates, to improve in this type of test trial, to familiarize themselves with the precise criteria for evaluation.
  • On the basis of modern techniques and methodologies to achieve the ultimate automation in the tasks.
  • To achieve efficient refinement of language skills, we offer to our children a participation in extracurricular programs aimed at the most important language skills (communication skills) to the extent required by the format of this test. The most important ones in which you can get involved are: participation in open discussions on specific topics, aiming to better prepare students for sections Speaking and Listening, encouraging the actual test situations with multimedia information on possible issues examinations for certificates, as well as comments and criteria on how to assess the different sections.

The first module “Be ready for reading" aims to quickly and easily master the strategies of working with different kinds of texts for reading and a variety of exercises for reading comprehension, consistent with the format of the exam. The module ends with a test to determine the language level achieved for those parts of the exam.

The second module "Writing tips" deals with writing texts - essays, articles, letters to the editor or a friend, reviews of books and movies, etc., that develop creative imagination in using the foreign language.

Third module "Use of English" develops pupils' skills to deal with different types of grammar exercises.

Fourth module "Speaking" develops and improves speaking skills and pronunciation.

Fifth module "Be ready for listening" includes a variety of exercises for listening comprehension. Improves skills in understanding the basic concepts and themes of authentic English speech from different areas, from radio and television news broadcasts, discussions, short stories, speeches on a particular subject, etc.

Sixth module "Up to now" introduces participants to the differences in the new certificate "FCE for schools", summarizes knowledge accumulated so far. It includes sample tests and tasks that are an objective criterion for the achieved students progress, explains the characteristics of assessment and other issues related to the successful presentation on certificate examinations.

Foundation "Chance for Children of Bulgaria" takes the bulk of the cost of the participants - they pay a small fee within a module, which is only for supplies and work materials they receive from the CYT for training. After each module exams are conducted for performance level and the best two train for free in the next module. For each level achieved, participants receive a certificate. It aims to find and support children and young people with a keen interest in literature and creative writing, and this year's theme is focused on the attitude of young people towards their homeland and their thoughts, feelings, dreams and hopes.

The competition is organized for the fifth consecutive year as part of the projects of the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation to support the development of young talents in the country. The new this year is in the prize pool, except for the first three places there is a special prize of the competition - the best works of the participants will be published in a book.

The competition is organized with the support and special participation of the famous contemporary Bulgarian author Radoslav Gizgindjiev and the "Book Factory" platform.

"I expect with this project to hear the voice of the young intelligent Bulgarians, to understand the messages to their parents, their friends, their neighbors and their compatriots, and I believe these "letters" will become a compass indicating the direction in which to find a better future, a provocation through which we can look at ourselves as a society, but this time in an unblemished mirror." said Radoslav Gizgindjiev, who was also invited as chairman of the competent jury of the competition, composed of respected Bulgarian artists.
Gizgindjiev graduated with a major in Bulgarian Philology at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo and Cinema Directing in the class of Docho Bodjakov and has so far put 5 mono performances on his own texts. The plays are released in a series of small books: "My Name", "Love Can not Just Pass", "Despite All" and "Are You Here?". His feature film debut as a director and screenwriter is the film "Lost Words" in a story by Elin Pelin with Koyna Ruseva in the leading role. The crowded hall of Grand Hotel and Spa "Primoretz" is watching the premiere of the documentary "Stories for Chance and Talents, directed by Martina Chachevska. In it, young Bulgarian talents share the path of success. The idea for the creation of the film is from the chairman of the Foundation Liliana Slavova. She decides to collect the stories of the children who have participated in the various creative projects of the Center for Young Talents in Bourgas and themselves to create the viewers how they work there and what opportunities the Foundation provides for the development of gifts and talents.

Creating a center for gifted children in her hometown is her dream come true. Having graduated from abroad, she returns with the conviction that every Bulgarian should do something for her country. Together with their friends, they choose to help their country's largest asset and create a national non-governmental organization to support talented children and a center for young talents in their hometown of Burgas. Seven years later, the first alumni of this center stand in front of the camera and tell their experiences and the opportunities they have gained thanks to their participation in various creative projects, competitions and contests. The Foundation has a wealth of personal archive footage that illustrates their stories. In the film there are many smiling faces, colorful drawings, music, dancing, theater, talking about how important it is to help and what charity means. It also contains important information about why the certificates of a center in Burgas are so valued in the world and how every talented child can get them.

After the premiere, the audience attended the official award ceremony Prizes, Scholarships and Awards 2018 of the Foundation, the most talented and distinguished children from all over Bulgaria, winning prizes at national and international competitions, contests and Olympiads in the field of mathematics, Fine Art and Literature.This first fashion show was presented by Burgas talents.The participants from the fashion design project of the Center for Young Talents, led by the famous designer Maria Taneva, made their sketches into unique models that showed to the guests themselves.
